Storyteller

The past two years have included several highlights.

 

I survived my first two years as a board member of the Florida Storytelling Association.   And the board asked me to stay on.

 

I am still writing and editing the FSA blog.   The 2023  and 2024 Florida Storytelling Festivals in January were successful.  It was great fun to launch our Liars Contest in 2023.  Five great entries.   Board member Pat Nease took over this year, so I got to compete and came in 3rd.

In October, my wife and I made our third trip to the  the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesboro in October.

​

We also saw some great storytellers at the Orlando Fringe, and this year we are going to Edinburgh's Fringe in Scotland.

​

Coming up soon, I will make a return trip to  the John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, NC. for another night of storytelling.
